What was your best moment of 2011? Was it a promotion? A morning show conversation? A meeting with a listener? A bit you wrote or a spot you produced? Do yourself a favor and don't lose that moment to the passing of time. Is it a memory? Write it down. A picture? Frame it. A produced piece? Archive it. Why? Because this is your "Joshua Moment." What's a "Joshua Moment"? In the Book of Joshua - chapter 4 - Joshua commands the Israelites to set up a lasting memory of the amazing moment when God parted the Jordan and the nation of Israel took their first corporate steps into the Promised Land. Here we are at the end of an old year and the beginning of a new one. What are the great moments God has done in your life, at your station this past year? It's those things that came to mind when I asked, "What was your best moment of 2011?". Those "best moments" are your "Joshua Moments" - reminders of God's work in your life. Don't lose those moments to the passing of time. Store those "Joshua Moments" away and visit them often. They'll remind you that God is at work in your life, and they'll encourage you in the year ahead. Merry Christmas! |
