“We would see Jesus.”

I’m on the road and can’t recall the exact passage in Scripture where this quote comes from, but it sticks in my mind as a communicator…and is beginning to drive much of what I do.

In the biblical story, one of Jesus’ disciples is approached by a group of Greek men. They simply ask, “Sir, we would see Jesus.”

I’ve always wondered why the Bible never tells us the outcome of their request, but as I think about it, I now think that maybe the story is left untold because the answer – in some ways – is up to us.

People today are still asking the same question that the Greek men asked two thousand years ago. People are searching for answers. They still want to see Jesus.

Can they see Him clearly through our communications?
